CATHY'S CORNER: Got Change?

March 27, 2015

“It’s not the strongest who survive, nor the most intelligent, but the ones most adaptable to change.” Charles Darwin

As I was tidying up my son’s room the other day, I noticed some old photos in a drawer. Sigh. How fast things change. It’s hard to believe that my once smiley, chubby baby is now a lanky, curly-haired, basketball playing middle schooler with an iPhone, and who needs braces. It seemed like only yesterday I was 12 when I got braces and spent the night on my blue princess phone talking to girlfriends. I felt sooo grown up.

While I am busy with details of daily life, I realize there is no constant except change. I’m trying more than ever to appreciate each moment, knowing that tomorrow comes sooner than you think, and never as expected. So for now, with Spring moving us forward – let’s embrace change despite not knowing how things will turn out…or if it’ll start snowing again.

Have a great weekend. I have TONS of great giveaways and tidbits so enjoy. Cathy
