Ambler Farm, Wilton

Farm
 Weeks, Preschool and Grade School Programs each offer an opportunity to experience farm life. Learn and work in our gardens, spend time with our goats, sheep and new pigs along with checking our nesting boxes for eggs. Baby chicks, turkeys, ducks, rabbits and visiting animals provide engaging opportunities for kids to interact and learn. Every week includes woodworking, hayrides, harvesting, cooking and more! The Apple Blossom School’s Waldorf Summer Program Wilton (currently enrolling!)

Based on Waldorf early childhood philosophy of learning through play, activity and imagination using nature, the arts and oral traditions of storytelling and puppetry. Teepees and Drums (weeks 1 and 2), June 19-23; June 26-30. Birds and Bees (weeks 3 and 4), July 3, 5-7; July 10-14. Camp Invention, Darien and Westport

Camp Manitou, ME

Challenge camp, Westchester, NY

Celebrating its 35th year of offering summer enrichment learning opportunities for children aged 4-14 to realize their potential. Challenge Camp is located in Rye, New York on 18 picturesque acres. Darien Summer School 

Fun and enriching programs for both Darien residents and non-residents ages 3-18. Over 100 different classes
 and camps are offered and range from academic to enrichment (technology, art, sports, music, cooking, film, theater, etc.) to transition programs (intro to kindergarten, elementary to middle school, and college application/essay/test prep). Classes are taught by certified teachers and coaches and provide an exciting way for children to learn and grow over the summer!

For kids ages 4-12, this camp offers a combination of traditional sports games like floor hockey, soccer, basketball, flag football, handball, and activities such as tag games, pinball, battleship, virtual space tag, and various cooperative games. Sydney Johnson Basketball Camp, Fairfield

Westport Arts Center, Westport

Get creative, innovative, and have fun through the arts by choosing from a catalog of unique and contemporary weeklong workshops. With everything from mixed media open studios to themed courses delving into graffiti, design, and technology, each workshop will include hands-on projects and some will even include a visit from a professional visiting artist. With options for the traditional art enthusiast and the current pre-teen, this year’s summer line-up is sure to offer something for everyone! Classes will stimulate your child’s problem solving skills and invigorate their imagination through diverse materials. Your child will practice thinking creatively and critically! All workshops are BRAND NEW and offer something for everyone ages 4-12. Morning camps run from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM and include a snack; Afternoon camps run from 1:30 – 3:30 PM. In instances where morning and afternoon classes feature the same theme, activities and direction will be designed to be age-appropriate.
