Pumpkin & Apple Picking, Hayrides, Parades, Corn Mazes, Hiking and More!

From beautiful trees, hiking trails, zoos, museums, restaurants, farms, theatres and local Halloween events, enjoy everything Fall in CT has to offer. See my calendar and Facebook page for more events as well. Stay tuned for a list of parades next week! 

  • Dress up and join the Stamford Museum & Nature Center’s costume parade during their Harvest Festival Weekend (Oct. 17-18). Enjoy hayrides, animal demos, live music with Jay & Ray, food and more.
  • Meet and greet Batman and Wonder Woman at the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk  (Oct. 17) and enjoy free admission at their Aqua-Scarium on Oct 31 offering free admission for each child who comes in costume with each paying adult.  

    PLUS, Marvel Comics' officially licensed Spider-Man will be here that day from 11 to 3.

    PLUS, and there will be safe trick-or-treating, crafts, face-painting, other special guests and more.

     

  • Go leaf peeping on a driving tour along Route 15 for a breathtaking view of fall foliage
  • Go climbing at The Discovery Adventure Park! Now in perpetual twilight. They've strung lights in the trees to provide just enough gentle illumination, at night!  
  • Enjoy Howl-O-Ween at the Beardsley Zoo, with a hayride, haunted farmyard, gruesome greenhouse, face painting, candy and magic show. October 25 12 - 3:00 pm. Kids under 12, in costume, accompanied by a paying adult, get in for FREE!

Apple and pumpkin picking, hayrides, corn mazes and more Halloween fun!

Ambler Farm in Wilton offers hayrides, farm animals, pumpkins, crafts, scarecrow making, and a hay maze. 

On the weekend before Halloween,
Jones Family Farm in Shelton hosts a UNICEF Family Festival to raise money for the charity. Pumpkin season starts at the end of September.

Silverman's Farm in Easton- Hear live bands, pick pumpkins and apples, enjoy hayrides, petting zoo, food trucks, gift shop, baked goods and more. 

Lyman’s Orchard - Enjoy their corn maze, play golf. Check their schedule of events.

Stew Leonards in Norwalk - Hayrides, movies, free corn maze and pumpkin picking.

Start Halloween this year at the Connecticut Science Center with their Spooktacular Science Weekend, October 24. Wear your costume! 

Enjoy LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Westchester Brick-or-Treat through October.
