Affinity Esports prides itself on creating and fostering healthier gaming experiences by providing a safe community meeting space for kids and teens to play games and interact with their peers. And while they are having fun, they are also learning valuable and marketable life skills in technology, problem-solving, communication and teamwork.
In addition to birthday parties and weekly game nights, they offer several classes this Fall for all ages and skill levels.
After-School Classes - Session A (September 16th - October 25th)
After-School Classes - Session B (November 4th - December 20th)
Gaming & Esports Foundations (Ages 7-13), Mondays 4:45-6:30pm.
Your child will explore games like Minecraft, Rocket League, Fall Guys, Super Smash Bros, and Mario Kart in a social, encouraging environment. Each day focuses on a key skill - character development, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and leadership.
Game Creation and Coding (Ages 7-15), Tuesdays 4:45-6:30pm
This class will require students to problem-solve, be creative, think critically, and hone basic computer skills to achieve their game creation goals. They will start by learning code basics through Scratch, the world's largest coding community and visual coding language for children, to create their own games. They will also have the opportunity to practice coding through a variety of fun challenges and coding courses in Minecraft Education Edition and Roblox.
Content Creation: Live Streaming (Ages 7-15), Wednesdays 4:45-6:30pm
Your child will have the opportunity to explore their creativity as they produce unique content. They will get an overview of hardware and software requirements, streaming platforms (such as Twitch and YouTube), lighting, audio, video editing, graphic design, and more. They will be able to configure their setup, get behind the camera and microphone, and share the final results online (or just with family and friends).
Pixel Art and Game Design (Ages 7-17), Thursdays 4:45-6:30pm
Dive into the exciting world of Game Artistry! Unleash your creativity as you learn to design characters, create animations, and craft captivating backdrops in the magical realm of pixel art. Participants will bring their creations to life and integrate them into a premade game, culminating in a showcase of their pixel masterpieces. No prior experience required – just bring your enthusiasm and get ready to level up your artistic skills in a fun and upbeat environment!

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, Affinity Esports offers a structured program with comprehensive training, teamwork, and leadership opportunities across various popular game titles. Players are guided by dedicated coaches, engage in regular practice sessions, and compete in organized matches through sanctioned youth and adult leagues. This experience not only enhances gaming skills but also builds confidence, discipline, and lifelong friendships.
Standard Season Schedule:
● Preseason - September 23rd to October 3rd
● Regular Season - October 7th to November 21st
● Playoffs - December 2nd to December 19th
