CATHY'S CORNER: Back to School

August 28, 2015

Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at 20 or 80. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. Henry Ford.

It’s that time again, when the school bell rings, and that means new beginnings along with new sneakers, notebooks, pencils, routines, early bedtimes, and homework. For my kids, things can get a little messy as we adjust to the new schedule.

For me, this is just another moment when I realize how fast they’re growing up. I would give anything for time to stand still and give them another embarrassing mom hug before the bus comes. Whether school has started for your family or not, let me know how it goes. I’d love to hear.

Have a safe and easy week ahead. Cathy

A BIG thank you to the Discovery Adventure Park for giving my boys a great time zip lining in the trees. It was amazing! If you have time this weekend, do this! Great family activity.
