The Southport School 2026 Summer Academic Program provides evidence-based support for all public and private school students entering grades 1–9 who are not achieving their full potential or have a language-based learning difference or ADHD. New this year is a Decoding Workshop for students in grades 6-9 who are underperforming in encoding and decoding.

Taught by The Southport School’s expert teaching staff, this extended learning opportunity offers individualized, grade-appropriate, research-backed approaches, including the Orton-Gillingham Approach, Lindamood-Bell’s Visualizing and Verbalizing®, The Southport CoLAB’s Executive Function Blueprint, The Writing Revolution®, and assistive technology.

Wakeman Boys & Girls Club offers an afternoon of summer camp fun for families looking for a full-day experience for their children.

Program Dates: July 6 - July 31 (2-and 4-week sessions available)

Ages: Students entering grades 1-9

A 10% early bird discount is available on applications received through March 27. 
A 10% sibling discount is available for families who enroll multiple children. Restrictions apply.
