PET OF THE WEEK: Survivor

sweet girl needs a home

April 24, 2015

Meet this little survivor. Why do we call her a survivor? Well, she had been spotted running around the center of Easton, CT scared and alone in the frigid temperatures of early February.  She spent 5 days, that we know of, in the cold and even an ice storm before she was finally caught. Now she is warm and clean at the Easton Animal Shelter looking for a forever family. She is believe to be a labrador/wire hair pointer mix. She is young and full of life but she needs to be the only dog.  If this sweet face is the one for your family please call Easton Animal Control at 203-268-9172, we are unsure what this sweet girls name is but she would love to have a family come and change it!

Easton Animal control is a small shelter, tucked away on Morehouse Road. ACO hours are M-F 8am - 4pm, Saturday & Sunday (9am-3pm). While these shelters are small & have less traffic, they can also be forgotten and animals can spend many months waiting for homes while no one even knows they’re there. Please consider adopting for your next furry family member.
