As I sit here worrying about how bad my hair looks in this heat, I realized there is so much left to do this summer and so little time. And so, here is my wish list:
Stop worrying about my hair. Catch a fish. Swim in a lake. Build a sandcastle with the boys. Find a friend with a boat. Roast marshmallows. Surf in the Pacific. Play tennis. Have a picnic. Kayak under a full moon. Plant a vegetable garden. Sleep under the stars. Throw a frisbee. Ride bikes. Pick strawberries. Wear a cute sundress and floppy hat. Read a long book while sitting under a beach umbrella. Do yoga at Compo at sunset. Go to a spin class. Enjoy an outdoor concert (or two), bring wine. Visit Central Park and hang out by the waterfalls. Stroll the NYC High-Line. See my family. Take a beach walk with my friends. Eat more ice cream. Just do nothing.
