Quite often the demands of being back in a structured setting like school create challenges for both children and their parents. At BOOST, they offer offer psychotherapy and educational services to families in lower Fairfield County and  provide whatever is needed to optimize success. By offering individual psychotherapy, family and group therapy, tutorial, educational workshops, college prep, executive function coaching, and educational/psychological testing all in one space, families will feel supported and comfortable in whatever they need.

ADULTS

Boost! is here to support all family members, including adults. Our Boost! therapists are trained to treat adults through individual, family and group counseling as well.  

 

Kids BOOST! Social Skills Groups

This hands-on program is designed to help children acquire and practice vital social, emotional and communication skills and apply them to real-life situations. Students are divided into small groups and placed according to the following criteria at the therapist’s discretion.

 

From here, children will work closely with their therapist to target specified social skills, communication techniques, and strategies for expression. Our goal is to help your children acquire greater fluency in their social repertoire.

These tailored programs utilize concrete affective and cognitive-behavioral techniques designed to enhance social skills in an organic way.

  • Play development, rehearsal, and filming
  • Video presentation
