Macaroni Celebrates: Local Fireworks Displays

Plus Parades, Baseball Game, Fun Runs and More

Whether you’re staying close to home or showing visitors around, here’s a list of where to go around our area. Please share any other fun things to do by submitting your idea below. Have a safe and happy Independence Day weekend.

Greenwich: Town Hall, Binney Park and Greenwich Point Fireworks show on July 3 at 9:10 at Binney Park and 9:30 on Greenwich Point. Beach cards required at Greenwich Point. Fireworks start at sunset. Community band will perform at Binney Park. Celebration in front of Town Hall July 4 at 9am. More info here.

July 4th Pool Party & BBQ at The JHouse Greenwich11:00 am - 10:00 pm

Come Celebrate at their pool & outdoor patio, $55/person, All you can eat BBQ, cabana rentals, bottle service, DJ 


New York City Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks, Hudson River. July 4, 9pm. Or watch it on tv.

 

Norwalk fireworks and concert, Calf Pasture Beach, fireworks at dusk July 4, 4-11pm. Parking at Calf Pasture Beach with beach sticker, $20 no sticker. 203-854 7806. More info.

Westport fireworks, Compo Beach, July 3, Rain date July 6. Get there early. Show starts at 8:30. Admission: $35/car. Tickets required in advance. Find more info.

Full Moon & Fireworks Paddle July 3 @ Downunder SUP, Westport: a very safe, high tide paddle along the shores of the Saugatuck River to a protected area where you can enjoy the fireworks. Space limited, kayaks only, ages 16+.  Departs 8-10pm $65pp. Contact Downunder at 575 Riverside Ave Westport, 203.956.6217.

New Canaan fireworks at Waveny Park, July 4. Residents only. The park will open at 5pm and the fireworks start at 9:15 pm. Food, drinks, magicians, games, music and more. Parking fees apply. Click here for more info.

Rowayton fireworks on July 4 at 9:15 at Bayley Beach. Admission free. Festivities begin at 5pm. Parking is limited at the beach with alternate parking available at Rowayton School. Vehicles without a beach sticker and non-resident pedestrians will be charged admission. Find more here. Check website for raindate.

Darien, the VFW of Darien/Norwalk is hosting its annual Push-n-Pull Parade on July 4 at 9:45am in front of Goodwives Shopping Center, and includes music, food and contests. The annual fireworks show is on July 3 on at  9:00 at Darien High School. Admission free but $25 fee for parking. Gates open at 6 pm, fireworks set to start at 9 p.m. Parking permits are available at Town Hall before the event. More info.

Stamford  Fireworks show on July 2 at 6:00 at Cummings Park. Free admission. Rain date July 3.

Weston fireworks celebration will be July 4 at the Weston Middle School field. Gates open at 4:30pm for the festivities, with mini triathlon for children and adult from 8-11 am, a swim at Scribner Park from 11:30am-6:00pm, followed by a BBQ from 5:00-9:00pm, music, a Genie performance, and the fireworks starting at 9:20pm.


Wilton fireworks July 4 will be at Wilton High School, following an 8:30am road race, afternoon activities, evening music and fun. Starts around 9:30pm. More info. Check website for rain updates.

Bluefish Fireworks Extravaganza 
Come out and experience a special fireworks Extravaganza at 6pm at The Bluefish Ballpark at Harbor Yard. Watch the Bluefish light up the opposition before they light up the skies, as all fans will be treated to this fireworks show following the game. The fireworks extravaganza schedule will continue each Saturday night home game through the end of the season.
