Preston and I recently got a chance to review Dragons: Race To The Edge, a new Netflix original series. The 13 episode series premieres June 26 from DreamWorks Animation.
Based on the original movie How to Train Your Dragon, Hiccup and Toothless and gang lead the Dragon Riders as they explore beyond Berk and discover the mysterious Dragon eye -- an ancient artifact filled with secrets along with plenty of bad guys and undiscovered beasts and dragons.
The story explores how Hiccup and the dragon riders explore uncharted territory and make important decisions that shape their lives. There is plenty of fast-moving action and adventure with battles, stunning underwater and ocean scenes, as well as ferocious dragons and humorous characters. The high-quality visual effects were “unique and awesome,” my son Preston explained. He’d recommend this for anyone, especially for families of different ages watching together. Definitely worth watching.
